Grandpa,
I have so many wonderful memories of you. You’ve been my only grandpa for most of my life. Any time the family got together there was lots of laughter. I’ve enjoyed playing soccer, basketball, baseball, and uno with you. Getting motorcycle rides. Visiting your house in Prescott and going running with you in the mornings. I remember talking you into turning on the fireplace in August so we could make s’mores. When you bet that we couldn’t finish a whole dessert by ourselves at Claim Jumper, and were shocked that we did. Going to track meets, where you and I would measure our hip bones.
You were the most selfless person I’ve ever known. So incredibly kind, caring, thoughtful, and giving. I’ve always admired you and your strength and positivity. All at the same time, goofy and having fun and enjoying life. You were all this and more, right up to the very end. I’m so grateful to have been blessed with such a wonderful grandpa. I miss you so much already. Rest well, and we’ll meet again soon.
Love always,
Michelle
