LUNA, FERNANDO ARANDA
On Saturday, December 25, 2021, our beloved Fernando Aranda Luna was called home at the age of 51. The world has lost a great son, husband, father, brother, and leader. Fernando was born in Guanajuato, Mexico on May 29, 1970, to his mother Victoria Luna and father Cutberto Luna. He spent most of his life in Phoenix, Arizona.
Fernando’s work ethic was immeasurable. He was an extremely hard worker dedicated and determined to provide for his family and give them the life they deserved. He began working at the young age of 13, at several restaurants in the valley including Carlos O’Brian’s and Carrows. By his early twenties, Fernando began working in the construction industry. He worked his way up to Construction Superintendent and was responsible for building golf courses in Tucson, Flagstaff, as well as in Cabo San Lucas. For the next 30 years of his life, Fernando worked as a Construction Superintendent.
Fernando was a kind soul who loved trips to the ocean with his family, his weekly visits with his parents, sitting outdoors talking with his siblings, and creating memories for his nieces and nephews. He was an amazing husband and absolutely loved being a father to all his children. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for his wife and children. Fernando was always there to help relatives and friends. He gave to those in need. He was renowned for his infectious smile, his generosity, his gregarious personality, speaking his mind, the warmth of his laughter, the strength felt in his hugs, and the comfort of his words. He was truly a peacemaker and source of positivity.
Fernando is survived in this world by his wife Jorgina of 17 years, daughters Alexandra and Camila, sons Andy, Enrique, Fernando ll, and Alessandro, parents Victoria and Cutberto, sisters, Sara, Candy, Maria, and Micaela, brothers Roger and Liboro, grandchildren Selina and Carlos and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family. Fernando was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend to everyone. We take comfort in knowing that Fernando is now at peace surrounded by love. We are grateful and blessed to have loved and be loved by him. We will all miss him more than words can say.

Fernando was everything to me, my friend, brother and confidant. His parting hurt us very much. I was happy to be here on earth and in good health to send him off into the afterlife. My mom made sure he was prepared and had the best send-off. She put money in his coat pocket, and a small water bottle next to him, small details a mom worries about to make sure her son was ready for whats to come next. I wish we had more time with him and I wish he could’ve experienced more happy moments life has to offer. But we are content with the time with him. Thank you all who came, thank your condolences and prayers. May God bless you all.
Fernando, today I am thinking about all the joy that you brought to my life and so many others. Thank you for giving me all our happy funny stories together. Your friendship and the times we shared with Dawson and the PCK crew are some of the most cherished times of my life. I will miss laughing with you. Remember the pig nose cup? Or the toy chirping bird we put in Dawson’s truck? Do you still have your captain’s hat? Or how I tried to be mad at you when Tristan had fun and you just laughed? I think of how you took me in as family from the first day we met and had the best hugs when times were hard. I don’t think you ever could have known how loved you are. In your work and in your heart, you sowed seeds everywhere you went. Whenever I need you, I can visit places that you touched, and you’ll be there with me. I am so proud of you and your legacy. The resorts that you’ve helped build for will be enjoyed for generations to come and it’s not every day someone like that comes along. Fernando, we were lucky to have you for such a short time and I will miss you every day. See you soon friend.
Our deepest condolences to you Jorgina and all your family Our prayers are going out to you and all your family members God bless you always we Love you and are here for you in anything you may need Love and Prayers from Pastors Danny and Yvonne Nunez / Breakthru Ministries
Fernando, you showed us love and kindness always. Thank you for being a positive example and demonstrating what a great husband, father, and family man should be. We will always remember your smile and welcoming presence. We will follow your example and always try to do what is right. Thank you for making this world a better place while you were here.
