A pure soul who lived his life devoted to his beautiful wife Maria Adele, and his 3 children, Christopher, Mary & Monica & his grandson Zaryn. He was born to Jacob & Harriet Maday on 7-23-1928 & went to heaven on 10-4-2010. Bill grew up in Chicago, IL with his 3 brothers, Robert (Bob), James (Jim) & Thomas (Tom). Bill grew up in the depression era & lost lhis Dad at an early age. These experiences gave him the strength and character that he carried throughout his life. He was creative & his career as a designer for Honeywell Aerospace for over 30 years allowed him to carry his passion into his work. He received several patents for his designs throughout his career. Bill served his country in the Army & was awarded a Purple Heart Medal. Dad’s hobby was his woodworking & he created many things; from toys to pens, games & furniture. Dad loved to talk in detail to anyone who would listen about the things he lovingly created with his hands. Dad would ‘sign’ his creations with a penny at the bottom of each one for the year in which he created it. He was a fan of sports, basketball, baseball and football. He was a generous man beyond belief & he and our Mom gave selflessly to many charities. Their ‘pet’ project was ‘Faith & Light’ & they have their hearts to this charity. They received so much more from the wonderful people they shared their time with that were involved in this “family”. One of Dad’s last sentiments was “I have no regrets”. He mentioned how much he loved all of his children and his only grandson, Zaryn. He knew he was on his way to see his saviour, Our Lord & wanted nothing more than that & to be rejoined with his wife in heaven. We love you Dad!

Dear Family
Please accopt my very belated condolences on the loss of your dear Dad, Bill.
Many years ago when you were very young children, I knew Mom and Dad…and you folks also.
Dad would bring Mom to my home and Mom and I would go to the YWCA together.
You young ones played with my kids while Mom and I made crafts, etc. then we would come home and bake bread and such til it was time for Dad to come back for you all in the van.
Your dad was a precious man and your Mom was a great pal of mine. Over the years, I have thought of you all many times.
I send loving prayers, blessings and condolences to you all…after all these years. June Nash
