89, of Phoenix, passed away on April 8, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Kenneth, and grandson C.J. Margie is survived by her sons: Kenneth, Jr. (Jean), Michael, Bill (Kay), daughters: Barbara Palmer (Bob) and Peggy Mello (Ed), 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 2 on the way. Rosary will be said at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 12, at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, April 13, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 2312 E. Campbell Ave. Mom’s famous quote was “only send me flowers while I’m alive” so with respect to her wishes, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
