My husband, L. Grant, and I were very sorry to hear about Vernie’s death. She was a fixture walking her dog, and then by herself, for so many years in our neighborhood. She will be missed.
We were Sheridan Street neighbors for many years.

Dear Mark, Alan and families,
Errol and I wish to convey our deepest sympathy during this time of great loss. Aunt Vernie lived her life with such passion, strength and love for all those who surrounded her. For me personally, she inspired me as a woman to live life according to my own principles. She travelled the world, served her country proudly and was an wonderful example of an independent and caring woman to all who she touched. Our fond memories of her will be cherished forever.
With much love always,
Anthonette and Errol
