MALDONADO, JOSEPH PAUL

October 7, 2013 Leave A Condolence

MALDONADO,

47, Our angel, has received his wings and has peacefully returned to his mother and our lord god in heaven on October 4, 2013. He was born April 21, 1966 in Phoenix to Bernard and Virginia Maldonado. Joseph was an angel given to us by god to love unconditionally and care for. His love for his family was shown every day by the smile on his face that lit up a room. He has celebrated over 300 birthdays with his parents, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews, and has given numerous wheelchair rides to all that shared a love for Joseph. As his favorite song goes “You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy when skies are grey, you never know dear, how much I love you, please don’t take my sunshine away”. Joseph is preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Maldonado, and his brother Michael Maldonado. Left to cherish his memory is his loving father, Bernard, and his siblings. Patricia Valenzuela, Catherine Guzman (Alfred), Sandra Barrera (Ricardo), Lisa Sanchez (Carlos) and  Joann Maldonado. He was also a loving Uncle to Dion, Eric, Celeste, Rocky, Alex, Dolores, Michael, Bernard, Carlos, Veronica, Lorenzo and his many other great nieces and nephews. Joseph will leave an imprint that will last a lifetime in each and every one of our hearts. He will be loved and missed greatly by all. A special thanks to his caregiver Graciela Pacheco. She is a blessing to our family and even more of a blessing to Joseph by the care she gave him for the past 8 years. Her presence lit up his life everyday and for that we thank you. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 10:00 A.M., at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1954 N. 24th street, Phoenix.
