Pat was always bigger than life itself. He never did anything half way and being a true Malinka was right 97% of the time. I’ll miss our 30 second phone calls. I’ll miss being called your “favorite sister’.
My love and thanks to my sister Mary who walked beside my brother for so many years. My love and sympathy to Kim and Matt who Pat loved so deeply. He was so proud of you both. Being a grandfather was his greatest achievement in life.
All my love to the Malinka and McGrath Phoenix families. Pat will always be with us in our hearts and memories.
Mary and family…we were so surprised to here about Pat…we had no idea he was so ill. Please accept our condolences. We may not be there physically, but we are there in spirit. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
“Uncle Pat” was a family man thru and thru. His love for Mary, Matt, Kim, Grace, Anastasia, Jared and Jo showed in all his interactions. So many memories of his love for friends and family, kindness to others, our travels in Europe, time in the mountains, holidays, picnics and of course a few shenanigans along the way.
RIP Uncle Pat.
You were the best man I’ve ever known. You’ve taught me how to be a man and a hard working honest person.
You are a hero to your country and to your family.
Your fearless heart has touched this world. It’s has made us all better people. Thank you for
All your wisdom and help over the years. You’ve always been the kind of man that would be on the front lines for anyone. I admire your selflessness when it comes to your family. I love you and I know you’ve always loved me.
Fly far and fly high. May your soul fly free.
God you may have my father back. Please hold on to
him until I arrive
Patrick will be missed. He was a people person that won’t soon be forgotten. Pat and I could go back over 60 years to when we were kids and I miss his friendship. I was the “older cousin”.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences for the loss of this profoundly good person. Pat never did anything half-way and I know he loved you all deeply. How lucky are we all who were fortunate enough to have crossed his path during this life. May we meet again.

I worked at APS with Pat for many years. He was one of the good guys. We played in the softball league every year. He was fun to be with and I always enjoyed being around Pat. God bless Pat and his family.
