MALONE, LUSTRE MARIE

MALONE,

Lustre Marie Malone, 72, of Phoenix passed away December 7, 2015. She was born in Marin County, CA. Lustre was adopted by Dr. Louis and Marie Robinson. She was the eldest of two children and was predeceased by her sister Sherrill Westin. Lustre was a poet, painter, thespian, pianist, singer, and unceasing dreamer. She was known for her strong words, her rapier wit, and her grand presence. Lustre was vibrant and lively, and she could get a stranger’s life story within five minutes. She spent her life devoted to her family and to her church. Lustre is succeeded by her only child Mollie Malone and Mollie’s loving wife Rose Malone. Visitation will be at 6:00 PM with a Scripture Service at 7:00 PM, Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, December 11, 2015 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 5045 E. Thomas Road, Phoenix. Inurnment will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.

    Dearest Mollie, Very sorry to hear about you Mom. It’s difficult to lose your parents. It’s your history. I saw your Mom not to long ago at St. Theresa’s. So good to renew ole friendships. Many great memories from your ole school days with all the schoolmates and mothers being together for all the events! My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of the loss of your mom.
