Theresa Marquez, seventy-nine years of age, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, July 13, 2017. She was born on May 16, 1938, in Phoenix, Arizona, to parents, Benito and Teresa Marquez. She is survived by her sisters, Benny, Rosalie and Frances and brothers, Tony, Charlie and Sam, as well as a daughter, Victoria and numerous nieces and nephews. Theresa’s family is comforted knowing that she is now reunited with her parents and brother, Eddie and is finally at peace. Visitation will be at 9 A.M. with a Funeral Mass celebrated at 9:30 A.M. on Saturday, July 22, 2017, in the St. Ignatius Chapel at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4715 North Central Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona. Burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery, 2033 North 48th Street, Phoenix, AZ. Arrangements entrusted to Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home.
