On Wednesday, June 17, 2020, Jane R. Martinez went to be with our Father in heaven at the age of 83. Grandma Jane, as everyone called her, was born on August 31, 1936 in Phoenix, AZ.

Grandma Jane was a hardworking, strong woman. She worked as a pressman/engraver at Ponte Engraving for many years. She also enjoyed life. She looked forward to family gatherings, going to concerts, movies, dancing, sitting in the backyard listening to music and having a drink. She loved going to the beach when vacationing in California.

Grandma Jane is survived by her sister Velia Works who lives in California many cousins and extended family. Daughters, Adeline J Ramirez, Esther Chavez, Anna Marie Barba and son, Danny Martinez. She was blessed with 19 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.

Grandma Jane was preceded in death by her husband Lupe Martinez and son Michael Martinez. Her parents Frank and Adeline Cienfuegos, brothers Luis and Frankie Cienfuegos and sister Mary Parra.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, June 29, 2020 from 11:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M. with Rosary Prayers at 2:00 P.M. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School, Phoenix. On Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. a Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Grandma Jane at St. Agnes Church, 1954 N. 24th St., Phoenix, AZ.
