Mary Phillips, 89, passed away on November 18, 2008 with her family and close friends at her bedside. She was born in Mesohorion Eubias, Greece on December 16, 1919 and moved to America in 1950. She is survived by her two sons; George Doimas and Angelo Phillips, grandsons; Samuel and Angelo Phillips and daughter-in-law; Diana Phillips. Mary was an active parishioner at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral for over 50 years. She opened and operated her own business as a skilled re-weaver and was well known throughout the valley for her detailed and precise ability. Mary was loved and will be missed by her family and many friends throughout America, Canada, Australia and Greece. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00pm, with a Trisagion at 7:00pm, Friday, November 21, at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, November 22, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1973 E. Maryland, Phoenix. Interment will be at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery, 2300 West Van Buren, Phoenix.
