John, Susan and Family,
I was so saddened to learn of your father’s passing, my Uncle George. Your Dad was my Mom’s oldest brother and she always admired him. I enjoyed receiving my Christmas card from him every Christmas season. Now his legacy will be yours to carry on.
I wanted you to know, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers for comfort and peace as you face the difficult days ahead.
Much love to your family—–your cousin,
Theresa Bell Hartley

To the McBride Family,
Fred worked for many years at both Arizona Downs and Turf Paradise as an usher in the Club House. His honesty and pleasant manner was apparent to everyone. It was because of this that he was promoted to Head Usher. There are many many people who will remember Fred’s pleasant smile and his warmth.

Fred was a wonderful man that I met at St. Theresa Parish. He was a beautiful soul, a wonderful prayer warrior for others, especially for his deceased wife and daughter. Fred always maintained a wonderful smile, twinkle in his eye, a “can do” attitude (no matter how he was feeling). He loved his sweet treats (cookies, donuts) . and every once in a while I would make sure he had some special baked goods from me. Fred taught me how to age gracefully, never complain, just move forward and do the best you can and to be grateful. Fred is one of the last generation of our WW2 Veterans (never forget) and I am sure my deceased Marine Corps father gave Fred a great big Semper Fi (always faithful) salute to Fred when they finally met. Rest in Peace, life well served. Good and faithful servant.
