83 of Phoenix, AZ passed away November 27, 2012. She was born February 14, 1929 to Francis and Mary McMahon in Bellingham, WA. She married Frederick McBride June 6, 1950 and they moved to Phoenix in 1957. She received both a bachelor and masters degree from ASU and taught 4th grade at St. Theresa from 1959 to 1965. She also taught several years at Smith Elementary in Glendale. She and her husband raised and bred thoroughbred horses for over 30 years. She is survived by her husband Frederick, son John (Susan), grandchildren, Amy, Patrick, Emily (Armando) Ramirez, and Chandra Schulte and 3 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Barbara Schulte and sisters Mary Fry and Frances Wagner. Visitation will be from 5-8pm with a Rosary at 7pm, Wednesday, December 5th at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road. Funeral Mass will be at 10am, Thursday, December 6th at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 5045 E. Thomas Road, Phoenix. Interment will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.
