Suzanna R. McCoy went to be with our Lord on February 27, 2019, after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. Suzanna was born on February 20, 1940 in Phoenix, Arizona. She worked for Motorola and Kurta before becoming a homemaker. She is survived by her three children, Roy McCoy, Jr., Judy McCoy-Chavira (Sam), and Denise McCoy-Traslaviña (Ray), brother, Albert Cruz, Jr. and sister, Della Quihuis (Lionel). She has four grandchildren, one great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. Suzanna was preceded in death by her husband, Roy McCoy, Sr., parents, Albert Cruz, Sr. and Theresa Cruz, and sisters, Francis Baca and Erlinda Duarte.
Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix, Arizona. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Saint Mary’s Basilica, 231 N. 3rd Street, Phoenix. Interment will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.
