McGUIRE, WILLIAM E.

William “Bill” E. McGuire passed away on March 16, 2021 at the age of 82. Born December 11, 1938 in St Joseph, MO to Joseph Martin and Willie Belle (Pierce) McGuire, Bill was the youngest of five children and is preceded in death by his parents, his oldest sister, Jo and his youngest brother, Jack. Bill is survived by his sister, Mary (Edwin) Moore and his eldest brother George. He will be greatly missed by both his daughters, Kelly Jo and Laura (Michael) Swanton as well as Kelly’s children, Alex and Eleanor and his beloved terrier, Buddy. Bill also leaves several nephews and nieces in Arizona and Texas. Bill arrived in Phoenix in 1958 and lived in east Phoenix for most of his adult life. He worked with various title agencies for his entire career. As a younger man, he enjoyed bowling, tennis, bike riding and most of all, fishing in the lakes of Arizona. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E.
