Campusano Victor Medina

On August 26, 2021, Victor Medina Campusano passed away peacefully at the age of 85 to join his wife whom he missed so much. He is survived by his daughter Johanna and his grandson Harny.

Victor was born on March 6, 1936 in Lima, Peru. At the age of 20, he joined the Peruvian Navy and married his sweetheart, Cira in January 1966. They would end up spending 46 wonderful years together. Along with their daughter, they travelled to the United States in September 1969. They would eventually travel to Arizona, where they would make many new friends and be joined by family.

Victor was a machinist by trade and enjoyed his profession until his retirement. He enjoyed the detail of his work and often shared the different projects he was involved in with his family.

As Cira became ill in her later years, Victor provided her care until her passing. He later continued to be of service to others by volunteering at the Devonshire Senior Center where he continued to make lasting connections with new friends.

Up until his illness, those who knew him could say he was always energetic, welcoming, and loved to dance at all gatherings. He will be missed greatly by his daughter, grandson, family and friends. May he rest in peace.

Please come and join us to celebrate Victor’s life and share the wonderful memories he made with all of you during his younger and older years.
