MEDRANO, HENRY O. “MIDGE”

October 18, 2016 2 Condolences

MEDRANO,

Henry just left to be with Mom, Dad, Margie, Bobby and Gilbert Joseph (Beanie). Henry was always an inspiring older brother. Golden gate has lost another renowned member from that illustrious neighborhood. Cancer was the culprit, but he fought it head-on. Just like our Dad, he would not give up. A graduate of Saint Mary’s High School in l957, he played golf regularly with some of his high school classmates. Henry always spoke highly of all of them. He will be missed by his brother, sister-in-law, nieces and nephews, cousins and Auntie Tillie. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M., with a Prayer Service at 7:00 P.M., Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 A.M., Friday, October 21, 2016 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 2121 S. Rural Road, Tempe.

I am so sorry to hear about this, I should have stayed in better touch. I have been friends with Henry a very long time, and I cherish all of the good times we had at the golf course. I met Henry will managing Rio Salado Golf Course in Tempe, and played at least once a week together over the years.
I have lost a great friend, and I know that he is happily reunited with his loved ones in Heaven.

    God Bless Henry
