Michael Lisi, Sr., a retired electrician, passed away on March 13, 2009. He was born in Italy and immigrated to the U.S. in 1936 and lived in Bridgeport, CT. He was a WWII Veteran. In l962, he moved his family to Phoenix. He was preceded in death by his wife, Julia. He is survived by son, Michael, Jr. and Theresa and son, Thomas and Karen, grandchildren Chris and Jena, Michael III and Sarah, Jillian, Zachary, Nathan; great grandchildren, Rocco, Michael IV, Jack and Bella and brother Alfred of San Diego. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 15, 2009 with a 6:00 P.M. Rosary at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, March 16, 2009 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 2312 E. Campbell Avenue, Phoenix. Interment will be at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, 2033 N. 48th Street, Phoenix. Memorials: St. Thomas Grade School, 4510 N. 24th Street, Phoenix, 85016 and Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E.
