Condolence from Meg Mills on July 28th, 2018 11:53 am

Mike we’ve been thinking of you and how you liked to play games…hahaha. A game of Risk lasted for a week. A game of cards lasted all night. If you weren’t playing games late into the night hours you were talking and cooking. Good family times with the kids running around being mischievous. You always shared your knowledge in politics, we couldn’t get you to be quiet. 🙂 You always offered your skills and we called if we needed to have the house painted. You were the best! You were friendly, talented, inquisitive and most of all, loved. We will miss you forever and ever, until we see you again. Say hi to all up in Heaven with you. <3

My brother and friend, we shared a life of ups and downs, good and bad, and heartache and love. There’s so much I’m going to miss about you, and so much I have learned from you . Your wisdom was beyond your years, your advice was well received, your heart was always kind and so easily given, your soul was one of a kind.
Thank you for being you and sharing your life with so many.

I miss and love you Mike!

Love,
Shelly

Mike,

I could never bring myself to call you dad, for fear that you might one day leave us too. But, you were always my dad, and you never left us, no matter what. I will miss being able to just pick up the phone and tell you happy birthday, to hear your silly laugh, to receive those awkward half (but heartfelt) hugs, to debate politics with you, to celebrate our birthdays together, and to bbq on the grill with you. I wish Malia had more opportunities to get to know you. I’m so thankful that you were there for us kids and you took care of our mom and loved us all. I loved you so much, and I’m so heartbroken that you’re gone. I will never forget you. Each year on our birthday I will light a candle for you, my loving Dad.

Your daughter,

Teri
