Syris Jonah Mitipok, age 19, of Schofield Barracks, Hawaii passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022. He was born in Layton, Utah on November 15, 2002 to his parents Sylvester and Vera Ann Mitipok. He served as a Specialist in the United States Army. He will forever be remembered by his family as a beloved son, husband, and soldier to his country.
Syris is survived by his parents Sylvester and Vera Mitipok, wife Andrea Leon, and many other family members and friends that will dearly miss him.
A Visitation for Specialist Syris Jonah Mitipok will be held from 8:30 – 10:00am followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00am followed by a continued visitation from 11:00am – 1:30pm on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Eastside Baptist Church, 2828 E. Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ 85016. Burial with Military Honors will be held at 2:30pm at the VA National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ 85024.
