Jaime Eduardo Morales

Jaime Eduardo Morales, 63, was called home to our Lord on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, with his family at his bedside and after losing his battle with a lung disease. Jaime was born in Phoenix, Arizona, on July 7, 1959, the 2nd of 9 children to Ernest and Dolores Morales, who precede him in death. Growing up in Phoenix, Jaime attended St. Catherine of Siena Catholic School, South Mountain High School and Arizona State University, Jaime, was a proud veteran of the Air Force / Air National Guard, having reached the rank of Senior Airman. He followed his dream to travel, loved Mexican, Asian, Mediterranean and Indian foods, and most especially coffee from Panera Bread. Jaime worked part-time at Petsmart in Phoenix. He is known for his strong will and determination which kept him going through the most difficult of times. Jaime lived life to the fullest and touched many lives.

Jaime leaves behind a son, Alejandro, of whom he was very proud, brothers and sisters, Juan (Jenny), Magdalena “Midge” Langford, Monica (Michael) Cohen, Beatriz Angulo, Petra (Wayne) Dattner, Jose (Sylvia), and Joaquin (Teri) and many nieces and nephews.

Jaime is also preceded in death by an infant son, Sir James Edward II, and sisters Maria Esther and Maria Angelita.

A visitation and rosary will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2023 from 2PM-4PM at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix. Funeral Mass to be celebrated Monday, March 6, 2023 at 11AM at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 10815 N 35th Ave, Phoenix. Reception following at St. Agnes Catholic Church – Donohoe Hall, 1954 N. 24th Street, Phoenix.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
