MORI, ANDRES JOSEPH
CHANDLER, AZ – Andres Joseph Mori was born in Mesa, Arizona on December 11, 1984 to Andrew and Mary Ruth Mori. Andres unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021 in Tucson, Arizona at the age of 36. Andres is survived by his daughter: Ariana Sophia Mori, his parents: Andrew and Mary Ruth Mori, brother: Paul Mori, maternal grandfather: David Barela and paternal grandfather: Jose Mori. Andres was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother: Susanna M. Barela, paternal grandmother: Eleanor Mori and his uncle: David Sheridan Barela. Andres is deeply loved by his aunts, several cousins, and extended family.
Andres graduated from Corona Del Sol High School in 2003, where he learned to love writing and poetry. Andres adored his daughter Ariana, holidays with family, and had a smile that could light up a room.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 from 5:00 – 7:00PM with Rosary Prayers at 6:00PM at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 10:30AM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1800 E. Libra Rd. in Tempe, AZ. Interment to follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.

I’m so extremely sorry Tweety and Andy. And all the family! I know this has been a very difficult time right now, I just did not want to disturb you guys. Just know you all are in my prayers and in my heart. I’m sorry I won’t be attending services. I want to remember Andres how he was the last time I saw him happy and smiling at your mom and dads anniversary party. I’m so sorry Paul for your loss. May God give you the strength to get through this difficult time. Love you all!
