I will remember Rick with a smile on his face and the great off-beat sense of humor. I enjoyed swappig Real-estate stories with Rick and sharing with him what is going on in Residential Real Estate while he brought me up to date on the commercial world. He would call me once a month or so to check in and I always enjoyed the conversations we had. He was a really funny guy and I will miss those great talks. My condolences to Mary and the children. My heart is with you. Sincerely,Donna Cilley

My sympathies to the Murphy family, I just heard of Rick’s passing and very sad to hear of it.
Rick and I became friends during college at the U of A and we were in a group called the Traditions Commitee. We played many rounds of golf during those days, fished across the Sea of Cortez during one spring break, and always had a great time. He was a fun and personable guy everybody loved to be around. I hope the comfort of friends and family will help you call through this sad time.

My sincerest and deepest sympathies to the entire Murphy family. I attended Arcadia High School with Rick and will always remember his laugh, his amazingly witty sense of humor, his ability to get along with everyone and just his zest for life. I will always treasure those memories. Even though we lost touch after we graduated from AHS, I was heartbroken when I heard the news. I wish there was something I could say or do just please know you’re all in my prayers.

I am so sorry to hear of Rick’s passing. I remember him fondly from our high school days at Arcadia. He was always a gentleman and a truly fine person. My brother passed 2 years ago now and I am comforted knowing that I will see him again “on those beautiful shores.” Take solace knowing that Rick is in a better, more majestic place where he is with his Heavenly Father. My heart goes out to his parents, siblings, wife and children. May God me near to you now and always. God Bless! Jeff Levison

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Murphy family. I was trying to get in touch with Rick to get together on an upcoming trip to Phoenix when I found this news. Rick and I spent a lot of time together when I was working the Phoenix market from1998-2003. He was a great friend, and we had many laughs together. I always got together with him whenever I visited Phoenix, so my annual trips there won’t be the same. He will be truly missed.
