Annette Chavanne Neugebauer was born November 28, 1915, in Lake Charles, LA. She moved to Phoenix in 1958. She died September 24, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank of 56 years, her infant son William, her granddaughter Rebecca Gael Sharp and her son-in-law Bud Parks.
She is survived by her daughters Gael Neugebauer Parks of Phoenix and Deborah Neugebauer Sharp (Steve) of Libby, Montana, grandchildren Amie Ann Sharp BeMent (Chad), Drew Sharp (Amy) and four great grandchildren. She leaves her daughters with the knowledge that they were the most important part of her life. She was active in the community until the end of her life and taught her family the value of volunteerism and giving back. She will be remembered for her caring sensitivity, her lady-like gentility and for being the original steel magnolia
A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, October 17th, 2014 at Valley Presbyterian Church, 6947 E. McDonald Drive, Paradise Valley.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested donations be made in her memory to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
