Ted was a teacher at St. Francis Xavier Elementary School where he attended. He graduated from Brophy Prep and earned his degree from ASU. He was passionate about human rights and social justice. He served in the Peace Corps and traveled to Ghana with a group from ASU on a Fulbright grant to study issues of slavery and human trafficking. He was an avid runner, recently completing the Catalina Island and Hood River Marathons. Ted’s greatest joy was his family, his parents Mary and Greg and his sister Lindsay as well as his grandmother and a whole lot of cousins, aunts and uncles. His other family was his students and the entire staff at St. Francis who provided him with the inspiration to become the outstanding techer that he was. There will be a Mass at Saint Francis Xavier Church located at 4715 North Central Avenue this Friday morning at 10am. Attangements through Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers Ted would love contributions to the St. Francis Xavier Building Fund 602-279-9547 or the Kino Border Initiative 520-827-2370.
