- God has taken him home after a year-long battle with prostate cancer. He was a wonderful husband to Laura, brother to Blake, father to Tiffany and Matthew, and “pop-pop” to Samantha and Nathan. He was born February 19, 1948 in Glendale, CA, but moved to Phoenix when he was two. He graduated from Arizona State University and worked as a quality director for 30-plus years. He married Laura at Brophy Chapel in 1974. Phoenix was his home for the majority of his life, except for time spent in Austin, TX, Greensboro, NC and San Diego, CA. Paul retired to Phoenix in 2014 to be closer to his two grandchildren. He loved to travel, which he was able to do all over the world with his work and family. His passport was well-stamped, but he always put his family first. He was known for his wisdom, persistence and humor and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Nunnelley, and his mother, Irene Nunnelley. His Funeral Mass will be Monday, November 30, 2015 at 10:00 am at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Scottsdale.

Please accept my deepest sympathies for the loss of Paul. My wife and I both knew him well from the RFMD, now Qorvo, days and were very fond of him (and his wit). He will be missed! Our prayers are with you and your family.

Paul was a good friend, mentor, and colleague. We worked together at Peregrine Semiconductor in San Diego. For seven years and accomplish a lot together. I met his wife Laura knew they liked to laugh. In fact It was my morning stop to see Paul who would arrive at 5:30 in the morning. To get that morning fix. It’s the good ones who go first. I want to express my condolences to the family whom I know miss him. God bless and may you all find peace at this time of loss. I will miss him
