As a youngster, Andre attended Greek school where she was beloved by her teacher Father Poulakidas for her remarkable grasp for learning. In her teens, Andre became a member of the Greek Orthodox Church Choir.
Andre attended Phoenix Union High School and graduated in 1968 with honors in academics and was awarded a scholarship to ASU. Unfortunately, her freshman year in college Andre had a nervous breakdown. She was in and out of institutions from that day on and never fully recuperated. Even though she was mentally ill, Andre, took great pleasure in socializing, was always cheerful, kept her faith and love for God. May she rest in peace and her memory be eternal.
Visitation will be held from 10-10:30 A.M. with Service to begin at 10:30 A.M. at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Burial to follow at West Resthaven Memorial Park in Phoenix.
