Andy Salcido

Andy Salcido passed away on June 1, 2025. He was born on June 7, 1961 in Phoenix, Arizona to Pete and Ersie Salcido.

Andy will be missed by his father Pete; his brothers Michael, Kevin (Toni), and Paul (Thuy); his love and partner of 33 years Stacy Young; his son Alexander; and his five nieces.

He was preceded in death by his mother Ersie in 2022.

After graduating from Gerard Catholic High School and Arizona State University (Industrial Design), Andy enjoyed a long and successful career in graphics and signage.

Andy was especially proud of his time with the event signage and decor company bluemedia. He joined bluemedia after its formation in the late 1990s and helped it grow into the premier company for tier one events in the United States - including the Super Bowl, Kentucky Derby, and major auto races.

Andy's passions included auto racing, music and travel.

There will be a celebration of Andy's life on June 21, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Whitney Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E Indian School Rd., Phoenix Az., 85018 (602.840.5600).

A reception will follow at Papago Golf Club, 5995 E Karsten Way, Phoenix, AZ., 85008 (602.237.6324).
