Ann MacLean Tollackson

Ann Maclean Tollackson passed away peacefully on August 8, 2026, in Phoenix, AZ. Ann was born in Cleveland, Ohio on November 25, 1934. She spent her childhood in both Cleveland and then Syracuse, NY where she graduated from Syracuse Central High School in 1953. Ann moved to Phoenix in the late 1950s where she resided for the remainder of her life.

Ann was a homemaker who also worked in a variety of office jobs, primarily as a bookkeeper. She cared deeply about women’s rights and was a proud Lifelong Democrat. She especially enjoyed cooking, birdwatching, and Reading fiction. She was also an avid reader of the daily newspaper, including the comics. Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 53 Years, Kenneth A. Tollackson, as well as her firstborn daughter Jill Sawyer.

She is survived by her children Heidi Ann Sawyer, Thomas K. Sawyer, Julie Tuttle and Kendra Tollackson, her grandchildren Brie, Kyle, Thomas, Clinton, Joel, Lizzie, and William as well as three great grandchildren.

Memorial services will remain private.
