Barbara Jean Peiz

Barbara Jean Peiz passed away peacefully on February 22, 2026. Barbara was born on December 20, 1942, in Phoenix, AZ to Abel L. Peiz and Gertrude Miranda Peiz.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and siblings; Bernardo Moreno, Carmen Bustoz, Danny Peiz, Abel M. Peiz and Lydia Salvetta. She is survived by her brother Joe Moreno (Lupe), Sisters Velia Peiz and Yolanda Carrothers and many nieces and nephews.

Barbara was a very cheerful person that found the best in everyday things and made the most of them. She enjoyed traveling, being around her family, and eating well, especially when it came to a platter of her favorite enchiladas. Barbara's laughter, warmth and kindness were contagious and wherever she went her presence seemed to fill the room. Barbara had a gift for making everyone feel welcome and loved. Barbara was a true blessing to everyone who knew her, and she will be remembered as such in the hearts of those she touched.

Rosary prayers will begin at 9:30 AM with Mass celebration at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 2312 E. Campbell Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85016. Burial to follow at St. Francis Cemetery.
