Barbara Lee Piatt

January 7, 1939 — August 21, 2025

Phoenix

Barbara was a beloved mother, grandmother, friend, and faithful servant of our Lord. She passed away on August 20, 2025. She was born on January 7, 1939, in East Pike Run, Washington County, in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania, to a young coal miner, Michael Doroban, and his wife and homemaker, Charlotte Henrietta. Barbara was the last living of her five siblings. She is survived by her sons HR and David Leigh, and three grandchildren. Barbara had a career as a secretary to the men who built the Palo Verde Nuclear Plant and got it up and running. She worked at APS until her retirement in the 1990s. As a servant of God, she touched the hearts of countless people, many of whom are here today. She will be dearly missed, and we thank her for her examples of service to the Lord.
