Betty Jane Brown

Betty Jane Brown (Mullins) 1938 – 2025 Betty Jane Brown (Mullins), 87, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away on December 10, 2025. Born in Ohio to Martha and Russell Mullins, both deceased, Betty carried a warm and generous spirit throughout her life. She met the love of her life, Robert “Bob” R. Brown, and together they shared 52 wonderful years of marriage before his passing in 2021. Betty is survived by her beloved daughter, Jane A. Musgraveyoung (Laurie); grandchildren Amy Mavor (CJ), Sommer Musgrave (Patrick), and Jeremias Musgraveyoung; and great-granddaughter Rayna Orozco. She was preceded in death by her sons, John H. and Russell R. Musgrave.

A Life Well Lived

Betty was known for her ever-present smile, her love for friends and family, and the open, welcoming home she kept for all. A gracious hostess and a hardworking woman, she proudly owned a hobby store for several years before enjoying a later career at Motorola. In retirement, Betty embraced life to the fullest—traveling with her husband, spending time with friends, and volunteering in her community. She was a gifted painter and enjoyed crocheting and crafting. Her days were filled with gardening, swimming in her pool, relaxing on her boat, and helping with and playing Bingo. Thoughtful and devoted, she stayed connected with everyone she loved, always keeping birthday cards ready and writing Christmas letters every year.

Forever in Our Hearts

Betty brightened the days of all who knew her with her warm hugs, infectious smile, and welcoming personality. She will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
