She and Daryl (Dip) Lippincott met at UCLA and were married in 1948. They had 60 wonderful years together during which they enjoyed family, many adventures and international travel.
BJ was an accomplished seamstress, sewing designer dresses for herself and her young daughters. She was also an accomplished calligrapher. Her handwritten thank you notes were works of art. BJ enjoyed golf with friends from Paradise Valley Country Club where in 1970, she had a hole-in-one. She played bridge from her days at UCLA until age 90.
BJ is survived by four children: Ann Lippincott (Ned Emerson), Vicki Ruby (Scott), DeeDee Mittelstaedt (Jan), and Larry Lippincott (Margaret Ann); seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Her husband and granddaughter Marika Critelli predeceased her.
The memorial service to honor BJ’s life will be held in the Chapel of Valley Presbyterian Church, 6947 E McDonald Dr, Paradise Valley, AZ 85253, on Saturday, April 6th at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to Hospice of the Valley or Helping Hands for Single Moms.
