It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved Brenda Lee LaVoie, 47, who left this earth to go home with our Lord on August 17, 2025. While we are heartbroken, we will forever cherish the love and joy she shared with each of us.
Brenda was born on June 19, 1978, in Anaheim, California, to her mother Debra Bennett and father, George Bennett. She lived in California, Washington and eventually found her permanent home in Arizona. She attended Arcadia High School and soon after, married her high school sweetheart, Robert LaVoie in 1997. Later, she began working at Avnet and was a devoted employee for 23 years.
Brenda was overjoyed to become a mother, and together, with her husband, raised three beautiful children: Robbie LaVoie (Airam LaVoie), Riley LaVoie (Joelle Lepage), and Brianna LaVoie. She spoke proudly of her children and looked forward to their bright futures, and eagerly awaited becoming a grandmother one day.
Brenda was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, daughter-in-law, and godmother. She enjoyed bragging about and celebrating those she loved and cared for and wanted everyone to find happiness. She offered unconditional support to her family and friends and welcomed many into her home and heart. She thought the world of her nieces and nephews, and even considered her children’s friends “her children” as well.
Brenda’s fun-loving attitude was contagious. She loved dressing up for Halloween and decorating for Christmas. She loved going on trips, camping, and couldn't wait for her birthday celebration each year. Brenda enjoyed hanging pictures of family and friends and texting to keep in touch. She adored her dogs and her most recent fur-babies Wrangler and Bubbles, brought her great comfort and many laughs.
Brenda was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Donna Belle Atkins and Wanda Lee Miller, and her aunts, Denise Arlene Nordahl and Sandra Lorine Faraca. She is survived by her mother, Debbie Bennett, Father, George Bennett, sister, Lori Taylor (Kent), and brother, Dana Bennett (Rachel).
Brenda was a beautiful soul who was taken from us far too soon. We will deeply miss her smile and love.
