Caden Giles “Cade” Goodnough, age 20, of Flower Mound, Texas, passed away on November 3, 2025. He was born on January 18, 2005, in Grapevine, Texas, to Chad and Kimberly Goodnough.
Cade graduated from Flower Mound High School in 2023 and went on to attend Arizona State University. He was a bright, kind, and dedicated young man who touched many lives with his joyful spirit and caring heart.
Cade was a Christian and a believer in God. He especially enjoyed spending summers at Christian youth camps, where he deepened his faith and built lasting friendships. He loved spending time with his brothers, Kyle and Cole, as well as his family and many friends. Cade’s love for life was contagious - whether he was on a family trip, snowboarding down the slopes, playing basketball, lifting weights, or sharing his passion for music as “DJ Cade.” His creativity and energy brought joy to those around him.
Everyone who knew Cade will remember his humble and kind heart, and that unforgettable, silly laugh that made everyone around him smile. His laughter and light filled every space he touched.
Cade is survived by his father, Chad Goodnough; his mother, Kimberly Goodnough; his brothers, Kyle and Cole Goodnough; his grandfather, Ervin Nemec; his grandmothers, Jean Goodnough and Corinne Nemec; his uncles, Stephen Goodnough and Scott Nemec; and his aunts, Julie Kavee and Kari Goodnough. He was welcomed into heaven by his grandfather, Roy Goodnough.
Cade will always be remembered for his kind heart, joyful spirit, and the love he shared so freely. Though his time with us was far too short, his spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him, forever reminding us of his warmth, laughter, and light.
