Theresa A. Carmack

Our loving sister and aunt Theresa Carmack, 87, was called to her eternal home by our Lord on Saturday, October 26, 2013 after a very long illness.  Theresa has been cherished by her family for kindness and generosity, especially to her many nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her husband James E. Carmack, her parents William Erle and Mary E. Rawlins, her brothers William (Bill), Joseph, Paul and John, her sister Mary and her nieces Anna Marie Ciccolella and Jennifer Rawlins.  She had no children.  Theresa is survived by her sisters, Agnes, Rosemary, Rita and Loretta and many many nieces and nephews, and great, and great, great nieces and nephews.  Theresa was born in Phoenix, attended St. Mary’s Elementary and High School.  She also received credit for various business classes at Phoenix College.  Theresa was very proud of her career as a paralegal with the U.S. Bureau of Land Management in Phoenix.  

Visitation will be from 6-8pm with a Scripture Service/Rosary at 7pm on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30am, Wednesday, November 6, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 11300 N. 64th Street, Scottsdale.  Interment will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers you may send a monetary gift to Life Choices Women’s Clinic, 9303 N. 7th Street, Ste 4, Phoenix, AZ  85020.
