Connie M. Miranda

Connie M. Miranda, 83, a devoted wife, loving mother, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2026, in her beloved hometown of Phoenix, Arizona. Born on April 27, 1943, in Phoenix, Connie spent her entire life rooted in the values and traditions of the city she cherished.

Connie was known for her unwavering dedication to her family, whose lives she enriched with kindness, strength, and generosity. She shared a remarkable and enduring marriage with her husband, Leonard Miranda, whose companionship remained steadfast throughout the decades.

Connie’s legacy continues through her children: daughters Debbie Lugo, Roni Miranda, and sons Lenny Miranda and Michael Miranda.The warmth of her presence and the lessons of compassion and integrity she imparted remain a guiding force for her loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Antonio Mesquita and Carmen Mesquita, whose influence helped shape her character and resolve, as well as her son Ernie Miranda, whose memory she cherished deeply.

Services to celebrate Connie’s life will be held on July 22, 2026, at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85018. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Connie will be laid to rest at Saint Francis Catholic Cemetery, 2033 N 48th St, Phoenix, AZ 85008.

Connie’s legacy endures in the lives of her family and in the countless ways she touched the hearts of those around her. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
