Alex Martinez Coronado

64 years of age, born on April 6, 1947 in Phoenix, AZ. A lifetime Phoenix resident, his passion was working on cars. He was known for fixing the impossible, and helping others in any way he could. A beloved husband, father and grandfather, he leaves behind his beloved wife, Sofia, his children Richard, Lorraine and Maryann, 5 granddaughters, 2 grandsons, his brother Barney and sister Martha as well as many long time friends and family members. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm, with a Rosary at 7pm, Sunday, February 26th at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road. Funeral Mass will be on Monday, February 27th at 10:00 am at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 2312 E. Campbell. Interment will follow at St. Frances Cemetery.
