In memory of Courtney Paige Johnson, born in Tucson, Arizona, on August 28, 1972, a radiant spirit who graced this world with her presence until her passing on December 14, 2025. A cherished daughter, sister, mother, and partner, Courtney was known for her vibrant spirit and infectious personality.
Courtney was an amazing Esthetician by trade, bringing beauty and confidence to many through her work. Having begun her career with great passion, her journey took a challenging turn following her eclampsia and subsequent coma at just 32 years old, a tragic event that altered the trajectory of her life and altered her memories and abilities.
Despite the challenges she faced, her loved ones will remember her as beautiful, kind, and complimentary, always going out of her way to uplift those around her. Those who knew her will remember her as the life of the party and an energetic whirlwind of fun and excitement. Weekends spent at the Sharpe family's home in Rocky Point were among her cherished moments. She thrived on life’s simple pleasures, such as working out—driven by her love for good food—and immersing herself in the world of movies, showcasing an uncanny knack for celebrity knowledge even after her coma.
Courtney was a devoted mother to her son, Xander Sharpe, whose well-being and happiness were her proudest accomplishments. Post-coma, her focus remained committed to taking care of her home, her dogs, and her child. The strength and devotion she poured into her family were profound.
Courtney was preceded in death by her mother Jana Mueller, her father Eric Johnson, and her stepmother Kathy Johnson. She leaves behind a loving family including her son Alexander “Xander” Sharpe, life partner Greg Sharpe, brother Chad Johnson (Andrea), stepdad Bill Mueller, and stepsiblings Jason Mueller, John Russell, and Brooke Russell.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Courtney will be held on March 6, 2026, at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home in Phoenix, Arizona, starting at 11:00 AM.
Courtney’s memory remains a vivid reminder of resilience, love, and the importance of cherishing every moment. Her legacy of kindness, laughter, and love will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
