David Wayne Snively

David Snively unexpectedly passed away, leaving behind his wife of 63 years, two beloved daughters, and three grandchildren.

Born in Warren, Ohio, in 1941, he spent his youth in Lordstown with his brother Marshall, playing baseball, basketball, and becoming an Eagle Scout. He graduated from Lordstown High in 1959 and attended the University of Cincinnati (1964), where he majored in Engineering.

He married his high school sweetheart, Elaine (Keener) in 1963 and moved to Lorain, Ohio, where he worked for US Steel. When he retired, he and his wife moved to Prescott, AZ, where they lived an active life, hiking the Grand Canyon and spending time with their grandchildren.

He passed away on June 25, 2026, in Phoenix, Arizona. He is survived by his wife, Elaine, his daughters, Beth and Victoria, and his grandchildren, Ellie, Hertz, and Gus.

He will be missed for his organization, his ability to almost always be right, his sense of humor, his strong moral sense, and his great head of hair.
