Diana C. Anderson

Diana Claire (Whitehead) Anderson RN, was the wife of Gerald Wayne Anderson DDS. We were married for twenty-five years. Diana was born May 14, 1943 in Belvidere, IL to Edward and Maxine (Huntress) Whitehead of Belvidere, IL. Diana passed away on November 2, 2025 in Phoenix, AZ. She graduated from Belvidere High School, Northwester University from nursing and received a Registered Nursing Degree. Diana was the first surgicenter nurse in the United States. She was the first nurse hired by Wally Reed MD and Ford MD. Diana loved to help people, travel, playing golf with her father Edward (they won a number of trophies together).

Diana was never one to complain about anything, not even the amount of pain she was in. We always loved to do things together. I will love her for all time and eternity. You are the most beautiful person inside and out, that I have ever known.

Diana is survived by her loving husband Gerry, two sons, Mike and Chris, one brother, Dan Whitehead; and 7 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 a 11:00 AM at All Saints Episcopal Church, 6300 N. Central Avenue, Phoenix.
