Doris May Clark Williams, aged 98, passed away on April 27, 2026, in Phoenix, Arizona. Born on April 10, 1928, in Huntington, (Ralls County) Missouri, to Earl Melvin Clark and Helen Victoria Wisehart Clark. Doris spent her early years in Monroe City, Missouri, attending Monroe City Elementary School followed by Rensselaer High School. She did not purse higher education but found her calling the dual fields of construction and secretarial services, where she dedicated many years of her life.

Doris was a woman of deep spiritual faith and was known for her country manners and compassionate nature. She attended Hydesburg United Methodist Church outside of Hannibal, Missouri, after moving to Arizona in 1962, she continued her worship in various churches throughout the Phoenix-Tempe Valley, always keeping her faith as a guiding light in her life.

Her personal interests included crafts and the collection of antiques and family history, passions that reflected her love for preserving the past and her artistic touch.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband, David E. Williams, who passed away on September 11, 2012, in Phoenix, Arizona, and her brother, James E. Clark, who died on February 9, 2025, in Monroe City, Missouri. She is survived by her children, Tammy Williams Schembri, Terrence Wayne Williams (married to Jeri), and Tommy Joe Williams (married to Kathy). Doris also leaves behind seven grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss her deeply.

In line with her wishes, there will be no services. Contributions in memory of Doris are not requested, allowing those who knew her to honor her memory in personal reflections and acts of kindness. Doris's legacy of compassion and care will undoubtedly live on through the many lives she touched.

There will be a graveside service at the Grandview Cemetery in Hannibal, Missouri, on May 15, 2026.
