Eddie M. Lopez

Eddie M. Lopez, 87, peacefully passed away in his sleep on Jan. 16, 2026. He was born in Phoenix, AZ. on February 12, 1938, to Manuel and Maria Lopez. Eddie was preceded in death by his wife Belen, son James Lopez, grandson Matthew Schnell, brothers Richard, George, Ernie, and Frank.

He is survived by his, son Michael Lopez (Monica), daughter Belinda Sierra (Rick), 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and countless nieces and nephews.

Eddie served in the United States Air Force from 1955 until 1962 where he was honorably discharged as Airman First Class (A1C).

He worked for Ryan’s drug store and then Rocket Delivery Service where he became the owner from 1976 until 1990. He then went on to work as an office manager for Pierre Landreville.

Eddie retired in 2003 and enjoyed playing golf and supporting all local sports teams.

A visitation will be held at 5:00 p.m. with a funeral service to begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 12th at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home at 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix.
