In Loving Memory of Edmundo Castillo

Beloved Husband, Dad & Tata

Edmundo Castillo, born on April 22,1940 a devoted husband, proud father, cherished Tata, treasured Tio and friend, passed away surrounded by love at his family home on June 28, 2025. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth, wisdom, and unwavering devotion.

Edmundo honorably served in the Army National Guard, demonstrating the same dedication and integrity that he carried throughout his life.

A true master of all things hands-on, Edmundo had a gift for fixing anything and everything, always ready with a tool in one hand and a smile on his face. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life—tending to his rose garden, cheering on his Arizona Diamondbacks, indulging his sweet tooth with cookies and his favorite pineapple upside-down cake, and doting on every pet and grand-pet who entered his life.

He was a man who valued time spent with loved ones. His love for road trips and TV crime shows was only matched by the deep and enduring love he shared for his wife, Josephine. Whether side by side at home or out on an adventure, their bond was the heart of his world.

His love extended far and wide—always the first to lend a hand, offer advice, or share a laugh. His presence filled every room with quiet strength and gentle kindness.

Though he may no longer walk beside us, Edmundo’s spirit will forever bloom in gardens, echo in every Diamondbacks cheer, and live on in the hearts of the family and friends who loved him deeply.

Edmundo is remembered by his wife: Josephine Castillo, children: Edmundo Castillo III (deceased), Ana Marie Castillo, Gregory Castillo, Gabriel Castillo (Vikki), and Regina Castillo. Grandchildren: Jason Adams, Jeremy Adams, Brianna Castillo and Hunter Castillo. Sisters: Virginia Baca and Alice Martinez. And remembered by his God Children, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
