Gerasimos (Mike) Alevizos

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Gerasimos (Mike) Sotirios Alevizos, who left us on March 29, 2026, in Phoenix, Arizona, at the age of 50.

For those who knew Mike, knew that his life was a testament to kindness, strength, and that he had an unwavering love about him. Mike lived life and loved with his whole being. He truly cared about people, cherished relationships, and saw the better in everyone even when they didn’t feel it themselves. The love he showed for others was a reflection of the love he received, creating a ripple effect of compassion and camaraderie amongst all that knew him. The best example of that was his daughter, Marina, and the love he held for his wife, Mercy. Mike is survived by his loving parents, Vasiliki and Sotiris, and his sisters Voula, Soula, Angelica, and brothers Thomas and Alex. Mike’s family was his pride and joy and was a guiding light for them by always offering support, wisdom, and encouragement. His presence provided comfort and inspiration, and his legacy will live through the values he instilled in his family.

While honoring his memory, we also need to honor his love for cars. He cultivated a passion for automobiles, not just as a hobby, but as a defining aspect of his life. Mike’s enthusiasm for anything car-related was infectious, and he took immense pride in his collection and knowledge of cars. He dedicated 25 years to the Ford Company, with 16 of those years spent at Sanderson Ford. Mike was more than just an employee, he served as a mentor, and a friend to many.

Though Mike is no longer with us, his spirit lives on in the hearts he touched. We honor his memory by celebrating the joy he brought into our lives and the love he gave so freely. May he rest in peace and may his memory be eternal.
