Gloria Kathleen Alday, 74, passed away on April 17, 2026, in the city Glendale surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great-children.
Gloria was born in Phoenix to her parents, Morris Kline and Esther Herrera. She was the beloved wife of Robert Alday, who preceded her in death. Gloria was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt whose life centered around her family.
She is survived by her loving children: Wendy Gomez, Michael Peinado, Brigette Peinado, Fernando Kline, Aaron Kline, Victoria Bizzle, and Abraham Barbosa. Gloria’s legacy continues through her 15 grandchildren (with one on the way) and 10 great-grandchildren (with one on the way), all of whom she loved deeply and fiercely. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Elias Bizzle, who now has his Nana with him in heaven.
Gloria dedicated 45 years of service to the State of Arizona before retiring. Her strong work ethic never slowed—she continued working at Amazon until just a few months before her passing. She was known for her determination, resilience, and commitment to providing for her family.
In her personal time, Gloria enjoyed going to the casino, playing games like Candy Crush, traveling, and especially cherished trips with her son Michael, her daughter Victoria, and her granddaughter Jillian. She also enjoyed attending Arizona Diamondbacks games, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren who brought her so much joy.
Gloria will be remembered for her fierce loyalty to her family, her strength, her honesty, and her unmistakable personality. She had a beautiful smile, a sharp sense of humor, and a fearless spirit that stayed with her until the very end. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
