Gloria Veronica Guaderrama

Gloria “Veronica” Guaderrama, 83, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Phoenix to Pauline and Ramon Gutierrez, Veronica spent her life rooted in faith, service, and compassion for others.

A graduate of St. Mary’s High School, Veronica was a woman of many gifts—an avid reader, a graceful dancer, a talented piano player, and a lover of the desert. She dedicated countless hours volunteering at St. Vincent de Paul, and was a faithful member of St. Agnes Parish. Veronica found joy in cooking, spending time outdoors, and being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved the arts and music and shared these passions generously with her family and friends.

Veronica embodied kindness. She cared deeply for those in need and taught her family to thrive, to be grateful, and to always look for the good in every situation. Her generous heart and gentle spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.

Veronica is survived by her husband, Alfredo Guaderrama; her devoted children Christopher, Robert, Buddy, Christine, Maria, and Elizabeth; 16 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her beloved son, Mario. She also leaves behind cherished friends Fern, Elvia, Elizabeth, and many others whose lives she touched.

A viewing will be held on December 14, 2025, from 3:00–6:00 p.m. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85018. A Catholic Mass and burial will take place on December 15, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Agnes Church, 1954 N 24th St, Phoenix, AZ 85008

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Veronica’s honor to St. Agnes School or St. Vincent de Paul, the organizations she faithfully supported.

Veronica’s love, strength, and unwavering kindness will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her.
