James A. Fauci, 90, passed away peacefully in his sleep surrounded by family on November 13, 2023. James was born in Chicago in 1933. He moved to Phoenix in the 50’s. After serving in the Army, he met and married Dortha Lee Franklin. They were married for 60 years and had four children Angelo, Vincent, Daniel and Laura.

He started a dental practice with 12 dentists. James specialized in solving denture problems. Joining the NDA in 1976. Jim became the first president of the Denturist Association in Arizona from 1976-1978.

Jim dedicated his life to dentures and providing top of the line dentures at an affordable price for people in poor economic circumstances.

When he wasn’t helping people to smile, he was on the racquetball court. Jim loved racquetball. He played twice a week well into his 70’s.

Jim is survived by his family Angelo, Vincent, Daniel, Laura, Anthony, and Josh; 4 grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Monday, November 27, 2023 from 11am – 1pm at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E Indian School Road, Phoenix. Graveside service will follow at 1:30pm at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery in Phoenix.
