Our dearly beloved son, Jason, departed this world to eternal life on October 30, 2026, surrounded by family. Jason was born in Scottsdale, Arizona, on September 15, 1978, to Dean and Linda Dwyer, and blessed their lives abundantly.
He attended St. Theresa’s school, Ville de Marie Academy, and Brophy Prep. He went on to college at Franciscan University of Steubenville.
Jason was a talented athlete and played many different sports. He loved skiing and snowboarding. He especially loved to fish and started at a very young age, fishing with his brother Delaney. He loved all outdoor sports and activities. Jason had three beautiful children whom he loved more than anything in life: Bridget, Brendan, and Brody. He taught his children to love the outdoors and outdoor activities as he did. They made many trips to the Florida Keys and enjoyed many other fishing excursions. They camped at every opportunity, and he loved all of these activities because he was with his children, who were the whole world to him and the light of his life. Jason was a talented artist, creating custom fishing lures. He worked at the family business, Studio Productions, and engineered the programming to bring the creations to life. Jason was a joy to all who knew him. His close friends would always say that he was the most loyal person that they knew. He was a true friend to many, and was always ready to help, especially when he knew people were down and out. He loved to cook and had mastered the family’s Italian cuisine–and as all Italians do, he loved to feed his family and friends. We will miss him greatly.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Leondard and Angelina Petroni and Dick and Lucille Dwyer. He is survived by his parents, Dean and Linda Dwyer; his children, Bridget, Brendan, and Brody Dwyer; his fiancée, Chelsea Nazarin; his brother, Delaney (Claire) Dwyer; nieces and nephews: Joseph (Maeve), John Paul, Mary Grace, Daniel, Gemma Marie, Justin; and great-nephews Joseph Jr. and Morgan and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A rosary will be held Friday, November 6, at 9:30 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle, followed by a funeral mass at 10 AM. Internment will follow immediately afterward at St. Francis Cemetery.
