Jay C. Snow

Jay C Snow, 81, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on June 26, 2025. He was born and raised in Yuma, Arizona. He spent a number of years in Washington state before landing in Phoenix, AZ in the 80’s, where he now resides.

Jay was an independent, strong-willed, boisterous man. Jay was a Romantic - both in the business world and his personal life. He liked Wining and Dining, always courting women and his next business opportunity. Jay’s hobbies include spending time with his children and close friends, golf, gambling, traveling, swimming and antiquing.

Jay was a lifelong entrepreneur and successful business owner. While he established a number of ventures over his lifetime, his biggest accomplishment was owning and operating Astro Distributing & Leasing Inc. for 35+ years. The multi-million dollar business not only provided Jay the livelihood for him and his family, but also introduced Jay to a number of his lifelong friends and associates. Jay finally sold the business to enjoy more time on the golf course.

Jay is survived by his fiancé Luz; sons Neale (Stacie) and Seth (Rae); daughters Cindy, Michelle (Mike), Thalassa (Daniel) and Shalee.

Jay’s viewing is on Wed, July 2 from 5pm to 7pm. His service will be Thurs, July 3 at 10:30am, with a reception to follow at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E Indian School Road, Phoenix, AZ 85018
